Courses Offered

Beginning Theatre Arts: This class qualifies as a college prep class and meets the A-G requirements. The class is open to all students, with no prior experience or auditions necessary. Students should ask their school counselor to enroll them.

Drama II / Intermediate Theatre Arts: This class requires an audition in early April to enroll for the following year. Prerequisite: Beginning Theatre Arts in middle school or high school OR participation in two previous performances (middle school, community theatre, church productions, etc.)

Drama III / Advanced Theatre: This class requires an audition in early April to enroll for the following year. Prerequisite: Drama II and performance experience.

Production Ensemble: This course is a one-semester, 7th period course in the fall and spring. It is held concurrently with the school productions and allows all cast and crew members to earn academic credit for their participation in the shows.

All classes except for Production Ensemble are for one year and can be repeated for credit. 

Auditions & Tech Interviews

Open auditions and tech interviews are held in August for the fall show (the Children's Theatre Festival) and in January for the spring production.
