Link Crew

What is Link Crew?

Link Crew trains upperclassmen to serve as mentors for the freshman class. As positive role models, Link Crew leaders are motivators, leaders and teachers who help guide the freshmen and help them discover what it takes to be successful at Redlands High School.

Link Crew provides freshmen with a warm welcome through connections with their Link Leaders. The Link Crew program emphasizes building strong relationships through activities that promote forming personal connections, while also providing guidance to put freshmen on a path to maximize and embrace all the opportunities offered at Redlands High School.

What is a Link Leader?

Link Leaders are:

  • Students from the junior and senior class
  • Students who want to make a difference at Redlands High School

Link Crew:

  • Develops leadership skills
  • Empowers juniors and seniors as role models for new students
  • Increases academic success
  • Teaches students to work together
  • Helps create a supportive and positive atmosphere on campus
  • Allows friendships to develop across grade levels

In addition to facilitating learning experiences and instructing freshmen in valuable lessons on how to be successful in high school, Link Crew Leaders step up and become a presence on campus acting as models of positive behavior which is ultimately a catalyst for climate change at our school. Link Crew is an excellent service learning and character development program. Students get to serve their school community on multiple levels.
