At the Student Center, we are committed to enhancing the high school experience for every student. Our mission is to provide comprehensive support that goes beyond the classroom, including extracurricular activities and college and career preparation. We believe that both are integral to a well-rounded education and play pivotal roles in shaping the future success of our students. The Student Center is dedicated to empowering students as they navigate the path to higher education and future careers. We provide resources, guidance, and personalized support to help you make informed decisions about college options, career paths, and the steps needed to achieve your academic and professional goals.

Student Support Services Include:

  • Employability Skills Workshops and Support:

    • Resume preparation, job applications, cover letters, interviewing skills, soft skills training, job search assistance, labor market information, and work permits.

  • Career Research/Exploration Support:

    • Annual Options Career Fair, career presentations, Trades in the Quad events, guided exploration with 1:1 meetings, monthly military events, apprenticeship program information, CRY-ROP / CTE program outreach, and labor market information.

  • College/Continued Education Support:

    • Annual RUSD College Fair, college admission presentations, application workshops/help sessions, testing information, community college Senior Day field trips, On-The-Spot admission events with RUSD Partnership colleges, and more!

  • Financial Aid/Scholarship Information:

    • Financial aid outreach, weekly help sessions for seniors, 1:1 support, workshops, presentations, and access to scholarship resources.

  • Get Involved, Prepare for Success - with Extracurricular Activities:

    • Whether it's joining a club, participating in sports, or engaging in community service or work experience, we encourage students to explore and embrace these opportunities. The Student Center is here to guide and support you in finding activities that align with your interests and goals.
