GRADUATING SENIOR PARENT NIGHT IS MONDAY 5/19
A very important meeting for the parent/guardians of the Class of 2008 will take place on Monday, May 19. Graduation Parent Night will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be held in Clock Auditorium. All the details of Graduation 2008 will be covered in detail at the meeting.
In addition, Parents/guardians that attend the Graduation Parent Night will have the opportunity to order graduation photos, purchase Grad Nite tickets & sign up for extra graduation ceremony tickets. Extra tickets will be distributed via lottery after school on Tuesday, June 10.

GOT ELECTIVES?! GET A PROGRAM OF STUDY!
Elective courses at RHS just got even MORE valuable! The elective courses at RHS have reorganized into the Career-Technical Education department. The result is the establishment of 20 complete Programs of Study that cover Media & Design Arts, Computer Hardware, Networking, & Engineering, and Food Science, Dietetics and Nutrition, just to name a few. SUMMER SCHOOL 2008 INFO NOW AVAILABLE
The RUSD will host a high school summer school program on the RHS campus this summer. High school summer school through the RUSD will be ONLY for students who received a D or an F in a core academic course and need to improve that grade. In addition, high school summer school will offer CAHSEE Preparation courses for students who need additional support. Due to budget constraints and a shortened summer school calendar, there will be no core classes available through RUSD High School Summer School.
- All RUSD Summer School registration will begin April 7. Application packets are available in the Counseling Center and in the North Campus Office.
- Applications will be due to your child’s counselor by April 25 (Applications received after April 25th, 2008 will be put on a waiting list or placed in classes, as space becomes available.)
- RUSD Summer School Dates = 6/17-7/18 (no school July 4)
- 6/17-7/1 First Semester
- 7/2-7/18 Second Semester
- 7:30 AM -12:10 PM
- Tutorial on Tuesdays and Thursdays 12:30 PM -1:30 PM (no transportation)
- Mr. Ken Morse will serve as the Summer School principal at RHS. He can be contacted regarding summer school at 307-5500 x31171.
- Students wishing to take core classes may do so by enrolling in a local community college, AAA Academy, or another school district’s summer school program.
- AAA Summer School offerings will be on both REV and RHS campuses. AAA Summer School is 3 days longer than RUSD Summer School.
STUDENT WEB SITE ACCESS
RHS students now have personalized access to features of our school website. These features include a personalized online calendar that will include information posted by teachers with class web sites, web-based file storage, and better interactivity with class, club, and team web pages. To access these features, students must log in at the RHS home page. The login area can be found on the left side of the page, just below the calendar. Complete details including username and password information are available online.
